Hi, my name is Jim Mitchell I have been an avid fisherman for over 30 years since the fever hit me at the age of thirteen. I have been fishing on the Scenic Smith River in Northern California for twenty three years. There is nothing like drifting through the Redwoood forest on one of the cleanest rivers in the world. The Smith has trophy Salmon and Steelhead come see. I guide because I love to pass on the passion I have for the sport. I enjoy teaching and watching my clients catch fish.
